Three sisters visit Morrison Park Camp Meeting, Historic Photo


Three sisters visiting Morrison Park (ca.1940) Udorah “Dora” (Harlow) Jackson and her sisters, Martha Ellen “Mattie” (Harlow) Eckles, Bettie (Harlow) Taylor. 

    They were the daughters of Uriah G. Harlow and Virginia (Johns) Harlow (2nd photo) The other children were Charles, Lewis, John, Robert, Emmett, Gillum, Tommie, Ida. A 1880 census indicates a S. D. Snoddy (a school teacher) was living in the home also. He may be in the (group photo). The Harlow home is still standing on Hwy 63 near Morrison Park. The parents and many of the children are buried in the Harlow cemetery which stands on the property near the home.
