Oakland Cal., Nov. 24- No mission conducted in East Oakland has met with more success or aroused greater interest than that of Rev. Dr. H.C. Morrison of Kentucky, editor of the Methodist. Dr. Morrison has exceeded the time it was originally intended he should stay at the Eighth-avenue Methodist Church, but the congregation still refuse to let him depart. Christians of all denominations have flocked to hear him, and his work has produced remarkable results.
Note; At the time of this writing, Morrison's newspaper was called "The Methodist", When he first produced the paper it was called "The Old Methodist," the name was soon changed to "The Methodist," and soon changed again to "The Pentecostal Herald." Morrison published and was Editor of this paper for 54 years.
